Extremely ambitious and truly brutal, this does not shy away from just how hellish this conflict was. That being said, a project of this scope will probably create much better results 10 years from now, the AI upscaling has a long way to go to be convincing. Everthing generally looks uncanny, if its not bad upscaling of facial details its auto-generated frames giving the movement a rather ghostly look. That being said, the color work is incredible and it really does bring this footage to life. I’m excited with where this technology is going and how it can impact our relationship to the past.
