Very compelling compilation of the 1992 campaign and it’s main characters. This and Hemmer’s ‘Partisans’ paint a pretty compelling picture of Pat Buchanan’s influence on the GOP. His prime-time convention speech will certainly stick in the back of my mind for sometime. This could likely have been a truly great book with a meaty-conclusion. Without it, it does seem like its missing some connective tissue, but I appreciated that Ganz found a way to end with Trump.
