Exceedingly well written and beautifully shot, this is an all timer. What of the path not traveled? What of the identity not sought after? What do we gain when we leave the past behind? Baking these questions into an American immigrant story brings clarity to some of life’s tougher decisions, but doesn’t make them any less bitter sweet.
