Fenway Park

4/5

Held up to my memories as being good and then some. Perfectly encapsulates the ‘in the wilderness’ era of Star Trek fandom before TNG, and Tim Allen plays Shatner better than Shatner could have even in his prime. The writers love for Star Trek is palpable and this movie walked so that Star Trek: Lower Decks could run. Even though this came out at the height of Star Trek’s popularity in the late 90s it feels like a miracle a movie like this could be made 20 years ago. Easily in the top 3 Star Trek movies of all time, the crew of the Protector are as much a part of the universe as the Enterprise, Defiant or Discovery.

I think I’ll watch anything with Sam Rockwell in it at this point.
