What a treat this what to listen to, truly the audiobook is a powerful performance. The making of this film was frankly insane and I’m glad Buchanan saw that and create such a wonderful oral history. The author lets the interviews speak for themselves and there isn’t much editorializing to speak of, just a masterfully woven narrative from those interviews. This is the closest I come to a beach read and I think I’ll be recommending this a lot over the next year.
